SPH iink Awards was a premier advertising award show that honoured the best creative works in SPH’s media. For the show in 2013, the concept was based on the theme of Alice In Wonderland, a classic tale that served as a powerful analogy due to its universal appeal, the rich visual interpretation and its message about keeping one’s sense of wonder alive.

Taking a life-imitates-art approach, prominent figures from the creative industry were featured as the main characters – a Creative Director as the unpredictable Mad Hatter; a Client as the virtuous Queen; and a Media Director as the vigilant White Rabbit. Working closely with French photographer Olivier Henry from Milk Photographie, the photo studio was transformed into a teatime setting. From the table setting to the costumes, each detail contributed to the eye-catching composition of the typical advertising scenario, where the Creative and Media personnel have a showdown with the atypical Client. Magical stories await to be uncovered even in the tiniest details.
