CreativeLAB collaborated with Berita Harian for Mendaki Learning Festival 2017. The festival’s design was crafted from the ground up, starting with the identity right down to the exhibitions’ interiors. Style guides, which included the use of typeface and graphics, were also conceived for consistency.

Print ads were featured in BH and TNP, with pre- and post-editorial supports. Digital ads were featured on BH online and social media, while static posters and video ran on digital screens at Our Tampines Hub. On ground, distinctive robots were created to represent the five specific themes and were used as icons to demarcate the various sections. STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) was incorporated in the mechanism to launch the opening of the festival. Over 4,000 people attended the event and participated in the activities. This exercise allows Mendaki to reach out to the community to emphasise the importance of STEAM in an engaging way.
